Korogram:
Daily Nonogram
A new picture every day, hidden in the numbers. You work it all out: there is no guessing here.
How to play
The numbers tell you everything
Read the numbers. The ones beside each row and column say how many squares in a row are painted, and in what order. A 3 is three together; a 2 1 is two, a gap and one.
Paint or cross out. Painting says “this is part of the picture”. A cross says “definitely not”, and it is what lets you work out the rest. Drag without lifting to do a whole row.
Checked as you tap. If you are wrong, the square shows what it really was and stays marked: you lose a life, but that square cannot cost you another.
Never a guess. Every board has a single solution reached by logic alone. The generator guarantees it before the board ever exists.
What's inside
More than one board a day
Daily challenge
The same board for everyone. On a phone it fills the whole screen (10×15); on a tablet, 10×10 on weekdays and 15×15 at the weekend.
Scene of the month
An illustration hidden under twenty shards of glass. Each shard is its own nonogram: solve it, it breaks, and a bit more of the picture shows. You have all month.
Unlimited practice
Square and portrait boards from 5×5 to 20×20, and a library that remembers which ones you have solved.
Archive
Every past day is still playable, to catch up or to improve the trophy. It does not touch your streak: filling in the past is not turning up today.
Collection
Every finished picture stays with its name, a fact worth knowing and a link to Wikipedia in your language.
Challenges
Send the board you just solved to a friend or to a whole group. Whoever makes fewer mistakes wins; time only breaks a tie.
Frequently asked questions
What people usually ask us
Is Korogram free?
Yes. The whole game is free to play, with ads. There are optional coin packs and one purchase to remove the ads, but nothing in the game sits behind a payment.
Do I need an account?
No. You can play without an account and offline. Naming yours lets your collection and coins follow you to another phone.
What is a nonogram?
It is a grid with numbers beside each row and column that say how many squares in a row to paint. Paint them all and a picture appears.
What happens if I run out of lives?
The board stays exactly as it is and you can keep going, as many times as you like. What continuing costs is not the board but the trophy: gold only comes without a single mistake.
Can every board be solved?
Yes, and that is the rule we care about most. Every picture goes through a solver before it enters the game: if a guess were needed at any point, it is not published.
Which languages is it in?
Spanish, English, German, French, Danish, Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal), Italian, Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian, Polish, Turkish and Indonesian. Pictures have no language — a bicycle is a bicycle — so the boards are the same everywhere; what is translated is their name, their fact and the link to Wikipedia.
